Battlefly, a flagship game in the TreasureDAO ecosystem, looks to list the gFLY token on Magicswap, a community driven AMM for TreasureDAO projects. The gFly token functions as both a governance token and offers utility via in-game emissions, royalties, and boosts across their suite of gaming and staking products. For a more detailed overview of gFLY, please refer to BattleFly’s gFLY Overview document.

The Battlefly team is building a sustainable DeFi strategy game based on mechanized butterflies, known as the BattleFly. Underpinning the economy of our game and other partnered cartridge economies is our Flywheel program that helps generate boosted MAGIC yield.

gFLY is the governance token for BattleFly and gives owners additional in-game benefits including the ability to:

  • Stake to earn royalties from the following game events:

  • BattlePass sales

  • Marketplace commissions

  • Breeding & NFT Sales

  • Stake to earn Battle Rewards from the BattleFly game consisting of:

  • Battle Fee rewards

  • RNG Rewards

  • Stake to boost Flywheel emissions and reduce fees

  • Stake gFLY to boost production of our Wasteland NFTs which produce the mods that players will use in game.

Along with producing a high fidelity game and driving wider adoption for the TreasureDAO ecosystem, Battlefly also helps Treasure through:

  • Onboarding new wallets and users into the MAGIC ecosystem. BattleFly is:

  • Building FIAT on-ramps to remove onboarding friction for non-crypto natives

  • Working with growth marketing firm, Upptic to bring mass attention to BattleFly and the TreasureDAO ecosystem. (Upptic is responsible for helping grow games like Axie Infinity and Gods Unchained.)

  • BattleFly proved via their initial mint that they are capable of onboarding users into the Treasure ecosystem

  • Offering the Flywheel program that helps other Treasure ecosystem projects succeed. Our Flywheel is currently:

  • Earning yield for 513 participants

  • Managing 15M+ $MAGIC

  • Being active participants in Harvesters and purchasers of productive Treasure NFTs.

  • Building additional Treasure sinks into their upcoming game

BattleFly is allocating gFLY for both Liquidity and Liquidity Provider rewards. BattleFly is also working through staking incentives for Liquidity Providers - although this is not yet finalized.
